Client Current Situation: This is a coverage backfill for a 20-year experienced APP that left in December

Facility Type: Rural Health Facility
Provider Profession Needed: FNP/PA
Specialty: Facility is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (FNP or PA) with strong spine experience to support two neurosurgeons . This is a long-term assignment with a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule (could be Tuesday-Friday some weeks)
Start Date: 05/04/2026
End Date: 3 Months
Length of Assignment: 3 Months- will be extensions
Credentialing Timeframe: Facility may support credentialing via proxy depending on qualifications.
Work Schedule: This is a long-term assignment with a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule (could be Tuesday-Friday some weeks)

The APP will split time between:
Spine OR coverage (1–2 days/week)
Clinic (musculoskeletal & spine)

4-day workweek (Mon–Thurs), occasional Friday if needed
No weekend, holiday, or after-hours responsibilities
Normal workday is 8–9 hours

Procedures: Procedures are primarily minimally invasive; one surgeon also performs scoliosis cases.
EMR: Proficiency in EMR documentation and medical coding
License Needed: Minnesota license is preferred, but candidates eligible for MN licensures will be considered.
Certifications Needed: BLS and ACLS certification

Preferred: 1+ years of experience in spine surgery, or inpatient hospital medicine
Familiarity with orthopedic devices, injections, and minor procedures

Other additional pertinent information:
A Spine Navigator RN
OR surgical tech team
Incoming orthopedic spine surgeon and 2 Neuro surgeons

Typical locums housing includes two preferred hotels in area
