Locum Trauma Surgery
Schedule: 7am-5pm, Monday-Friday, 24 hour call on Weekends
Weekend call is 1:9 and shifts worked is either Thursday/Saturday or Friday/Sunday
1 half day of clinic per week for post op follow ups
5-10 consults per day
5-10 operations per week, can vary
Will round on 10-20 patients per day in addition to trauma consults and 911/811 response
Procedure/Cases: Predominantly blunt trauma, penetrating trauma, emergent procedures with general surgery, some ICU bedside procedures (tracheotomy, PEG tube, chest tube, etc.)
EMR: EPIC

• Just over an hour from Columbia and Fayetteville and 2 hours from Charleston
• Shared call rotation
