Job Overview
Specialty: PA/NP - Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery (Open to Thoracic-only ORFAs)

Location: Cleveland, OH (Covering two acute care facilities just 15 minutes apart)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40-hour work week

Call Profile: 24-hour call coverage required, including weekend and holiday rounding.

Clinical Setting: O.R. First Assist & Rounding (No Clinic responsibilities).

EMR: EPIC

Clinical & Surgical Scope
This position supports a dynamic team of CVT and Thoracic surgeons. You will manage a diverse patient population across CVICU, Step-down, and Thoracic units.

CV Surgery: O.R. First Assist with EVH (Maquet Hemapro) expertise.

Thoracic Surgery: O.R. First Assist with Robotics experience.

Patient Management: Rounding on cardiac and thoracic surgery patients in high-acuity settings.

Requirements
Certification: Board Certified PA or ACNP.

Skills: Strong First Assist background. Mastery of Maquet Hemapro EVH or Thoracic Robotics is highly preferred.

Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) license preferred, but the client is willing to wait for the right candidate to obtain an OH license. (We cover your license)

Credentials: BLS and DEA required.

Special Note: We are also accepting applications from Thoracic-only ORFAs who do not have CVT experience.

Facility & Credentialing
Environment: Acute Care Hospital system.

Credentialing: 60–90 day process.
