Are you an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a background in cardiothoracic or thoracic surgery? We have an exciting full-time locum tenens opportunity in California, offering a structured schedule and the chance to work with a highly skilled inpatient team.

Position Details:
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Duties: Rounding, discharge planning, chest tube placement/removal (MUST have experience), consults, pre-op patient preparation, stepdown unit patient management
• No OR Work – This is not a surgical role, no additional procedures beyond chest tubes
• Credentialing: Standard process takes 90 days, but temp privileges are available for a quick start
• Interview Process: Video interview with the Director of APPs

Requirements:
✔ PA or NP (PAs must have or be willing to obtain a CA license; licensure can take 45 days)
✔ 2+ years of experience in cardiothoracic or thoracic surgery
✔ Chest tube removal experience REQUIRED – No exceptions
✔ Clean background for temp privileges
