APP – Cardiac Surgery – Southern California – 5x8s + Call

Region:
Southern California

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday – 8a to 5p
• Call: every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend
• Start date: as soon as credentials are issued

Work Details:
• Practice Setting: Inpatient (CCU and telemetry)
• Patient Volume: Average daily census is 20
• Patient Age Group: Adults only
• EMR: Epic
• Procedures: None required
• Support Role: APP will assist in rounding, care coordination, and patient management
• Locals preferred - a higher pay rate can be given in order to cover for any additional travel costs if you are not local but still interested in this job

Requirements:
• Role: NP or PA only
• Experience: At least 2 years overall, with 1+ year of first assist in cardiac surgery
• Skills: Must have endovascular vein harvesting experience
• License: Must hold or be eligible for unrestricted California license at time of submission
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA
• Board Certification: yes
