Weekend Cardiothoracic Surgery APP – Near Cleveland

Job description

This is Kaitlin, Principal Recruiter with Aya Locums. We have a new Cardiothoracic Surgery APP opportunity near Cleveland, Ohio starting this spring, with a primary focus on weekend coverage.

• As soon as credentialled, ongoing coverage
• Weekend coverage (24-hour call + rounding)
o Additional weekday coverage and call opportunities available
• 24-hour call (not in-house)
• Inpatient hospital setting
• Manage ICU and step-down cardiac and thoracic patients
• First assist in cardiac and thoracic surgery
o Thoracic cases include robotic, VATS, and open procedures
o Cardiac cases include CABG, valve replacements, aneurysms, dissections
• Experience with endoscopic vein harvesting required
• EMR: Epic
