Locum Physician Assistant - CT/ CV Surgery

Our client in Kanawha County, WV is in need of a Locum Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant for an ongoing assignment!

Job Details:
-Shift Details:
-Clinic: Tues, Thurs, Friday
-Call - 7a - 3p Mon and Wed (Rounding, writing notes and discharge summaries)
-Weekends: 7a - 12p flexible on hours
-Special procedures: Pulling chest tube, part flushes, S-P drain removal, anticoagulant bridging for perioperative. Staple/Suture removal, general knowledge, chest tube management.
-Skills Required: Respiratory, GI assessments, gen knowledge, PET, CT X-rays, managing chest tubes including pulling; spirometry, multitasking.
-EMR: Cerner

Job Requirements:
-Board Certification: Thoracic and esophageal surgery
-WV state license
-DEA license
-Two years cardiothoracic and esophageal surgery experience
-BLS and ACLS (AHA)
