Medical Facilities is looking for Surgeon - Trauma Roanoke, VA

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Typical procedures required: Running traumas, emergency general surgery, rounding in the ICU
2 daytimes in house & 1 night-time in house.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• Must be Board Certified General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care, must have Trauma experience & preferred Surgical Critical Care - (ACS or Trauma)
• Must have 2 years recent trauma/ Acute Care Surgery experience (and case logs to support it) 28 trauma cases with an average of 7 cases per quarter within the last year, no new grads.
• Must have clean criminal and malpractice backgrounds
• Must be VA licensed at time of presentation (provider can have a license in TN, KY, NC, WV, MD and can receive quick licensing in VA)
• Must be able to work a minimum of 7 shifts in a row
AVAILABILITY
• 1st possible date they would be available?
• How many shifts would they be able for per month?
• What month is their schedule completely open?
• Any shift preferences (Day, Night, Blocks…etc)?
• Any dates in the next 3-6 months they can’t work?
• Any Holidays in the next 3-6 months they would be open to work?

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• ATLS
• Board Certified
