Job description

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and accreditation requirements.

Evaluate and treat occupational medicine patients based on Agile’s medical practice model.

Establish and oversee the appropriate level of care for all center patients.

Complete all medical record documentation before the end of each shift.

Collaborate with the Center Medical Director to ensure operations meet medical and professional standards of care.

Identify and recommend opportunities for growth of new or existing services.

Meet regularly with the Medical Director (or designee) to review patient care quality, policies, procedures, and outcomes.

Communicate with client representatives following initial injury treatment or significant changes in patient status.

Provide guidance to clinical staff when the Center Medical Director is unavailable.

Efficiently use clinical systems to ensure accurate documentation, appropriate coding, charge capture, and follow-through on patient care orders.

Ensure compliance with State Practice Acts and Workers’ Compensation regulations.

Build and maintain positive relationships with center clients and payers; respond to inquiries within 24 hours.

Partner with clinical leadership to manage staffing levels and skill mix for optimal workflows and patient satisfaction.

Foster a collaborative, professional, and safe environment focused on quality care and continuous improvement.

Promote center initiatives and standardized workflows across locations.

Perform additional duties as required; responsibilities may evolve with or without notice.

Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program with an unrestricted California PA/NP license (or in progress)
Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
BLS and AED Certified; ACLS Certified, preferred
NRCME Certified (DOT Medical Examiner)
DEA required
Occ Med, urgent care, or emergency med experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
