Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Urgent Care NP/PA for an assignment in Southern California. Candidates must have prior Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience and be comfortable in a high-volume setting.

Assignment Details
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical coverage
• Schedule: Full-time preferred, 3x12-hour shifts (8a–8p)
• Facility: Open 7 days per week; weekends required

Work Details
• Practice Model: Private practice with independent decision-making
• Patient Volume: ~40 patients per day during peak months
• Procedures: Laceration repair, I&D of abscesses, toenail removal

Practice Setting
• Urgent Care
• Independent provider role (no physician on site)

Requirements
• Experience: ED or Urgent Care experience required
• Certification: BLS
