Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Urgent Care APP for a full-time assignment in southern Louisiana, transitioning to PRN coverage after the initial period. Ideal for an APP confident practicing independently in a high-volume, urgent care environment.

Assignment Details
• Need: Full time for 4–5 weeks, then PRN (2–8 shifts/month)
• Schedule: 8a–8p

Work Details
• Facility Type: Outpatient Urgent Care
• Practice Setting: Freestanding
• Support Staff: MA, RN; APP works solo
• EMR: Experity
• Avg. Daily Census: 35+ patients/day
• Patient Population: All ages
• Procedures: Full urgent care testing/diagnosis, suturing, splinting

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• State License: Active LA license
• DEA: Required
• CSR: Not required
• Certifications: ACLS
• Experience: 3+ years; DOT certification strongly preferred
