Urgent Care APP – Locums (State of Louisiana)

Assignment Overview

Initial Need: Full time for 4–5 weeks

Ongoing Need: PRN, approximately 2–8 shifts per month

Schedule: 8a–8p

Coverage Type: All patient types

Setting: Freestanding outpatient urgent care

Support Staff: MA, RN; provider works solo as the APP

EMR: Experity

Daily Volume: 35+ patients

Patient Age Range: All ages

Rate: All-inclusive (no travel coverage)

Clinical Expectations

Perform full-scope urgent care testing and diagnostics

Manage walk-in acute complaints across all age groups

Perform procedures including suturing and splinting

Provide efficient, independent care in a high-volume environment

Requirements

Active Louisiana license

Board certified

DEA required

ACLS required

DOT certification strongly preferred

Must be enrolled with Louisiana payers

Minimum 3 years of urgent care experience
