Emergency Medicine PAs needed in Minnesota

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine provider to join a Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department with Trauma Level IV designation. This role offers a supportive clinical environment, strong physician backup, and telehealth specialty access.

Practice Setting
Facility Type: Hospital
Hospital Bed Size: 57 beds

ED Description:
7 treatment rooms
2 trauma bays (capacity for 4 patients each)
Trauma Level IV designation
Volume: 20–30 patients per day
Patient Population: All ages (Pediatrics to Geriatrics)
Active OB population (6 babies born in the last 6 months)

Clinical Support
24-hour MD support on-site or within 5 minutes
Additional PA coverage during mid shifts

Specialty backup available:
Family Medicine Physician
Emergency Medicine Physician
Telemedicine support (Cardiology & Stroke)
In-house ambulance transfers
Helipad access for trauma center transfers

EMR Systems
Primarily EDIS
Medhost
Athena (clinic, if applicable)
Training available

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience
Emergency ultrasound proficiency required
Comfortable treating patients across all age groups

Requirements
Board Certified
Active Minnesota (MN) License
Active DEA

Required Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
ATLS or CALS

Preferred Certifications:
PALS
APLS
