JOB SUMMARY

A locum Physician Assistant is needed with experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health to provide episodic care and injury treatment. The provider will work in an urgent care clinic setting, managing patients across all age groups. The role requires the ability to work autonomously while maintaining collaboration with a supervising physician available by phone.


RESPONSIBILITIES

PRACTICE SETTING

Urgent Care clinic with Occupational Health services
Provide episodic care and injury treatment
Manage patients across multiple age groups

SUPERVISION & AUTONOMY

Provider will work autonomously
Supervising physician available via phone


CLINICAL TOOLS & EMR

Documentation system: Anthem


SCHEDULE & SHIFT DETAILS

Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Coverage: Ongoing, as needed
Mileage: Reimbursed at IRS standard rate (local providers only)
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified (ANCC or AANP) (required)
Active Virginia license (required)
BLS certification (required)
Must be a local provider (required)
