Urgent Care Physician Locum in Quincy, Illinois (IL) - Start April 2026

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Urgent Care Physician Locum to work in coverage in Quincy, Illinois. Looking forward to starting April 1st, 2026. The role offers a competitive market rate and Locums benefit.



The Urgent Care Role(s):
Need: Full-time. 12 shifts per month. 4-shifts in a block (typically)
Schedule: 6a-6p or 10a-10p
Scope: Solo (from 6a-9a)
EMR: EPIC
Duties: Walk-in Clinic Averages 60-70 patients per day (between three providers).
Cases: Some Ortho, x-rays, splitting, suturing, foreign body eye removal, cough sore throat, UTI, STD testing/pelvic exam, flu, rashes, etc.
Procedures: Splinting, suturing required


Requirements of the Urgent Care role:
IL state license; active, unrestricted.
Board Certified/Board Eligible
DEA, ATLS, PALS, CSR.
Credentialing: 120 days, quicker for responsive doctors.
CV education and work history in MM/YYYY format
