Job description

Urgent care (IM / FM / ER trained) Michigan/ WI VA Hospital.

Hospital: 17 bed medical center (basic med surg unit only, No ICU), No Specialists.

Certifications: Internal Medicine / Family Medicine / EM trained, ACLS/BLS, Board Eligible or Certified

Experience Required - >2 years of ACUTE CARE experience in Urgent care / ER / Hospitalist (no exceptions) Clean background with no or minimal malpractice

Schedule: 14 shifts (7 day shifts and 7 night shifts, full call on weekend). Block starts Sunday night and ends on Thursday of following week. On Fridays and Saturday’s are 24 hour shifts. Total of 2 shifts of 24 hours and 10 shifts of 12 hours.

Day Shift - 7a-7p, Urgent care only Mon – Fri 7am-7pm. (6-8 patients a day)

Night shift - 7p-7a and week end 5p-7a, cross cover inpatients (2-4 in volume) and nursing home, in house call.

Pay - 425k per year (1 FTE), ANY STATE LICENSE WORKS. (1099 position) Company car and company housing provided. Flight not included

Start date - Dec 2022, Must commit for 2 years (Ideally 3 years). No visa sponsorship available.
