Job description
🛑 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (Strict Compliance):
Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
Licensure: Active Pennsylvania Medical License Required.
DEA: Required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred; new graduates will also be considered.
Documentation:
• Updated CV with detailed work history
• Clean background and malpractice history
Availability: Providers must specify which dates they are available to cover at the time of submission.
📋 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
ER Call Coverage: Respond to emergency department consults and urgent urology cases.
Inpatient Care: Provide inpatient consults and hospital-based urology management.
General Urology Coverage: Adult patient population only (No Pediatrics).
Technology: Utilize EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation.
Collaboration: Coordinate care with hospital staff, physicians, and support teams.
🏥 PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT:
Community Hospital Setting: 132-bed hospital with established urology coverage.
Support Structure:
• 2 Physicians onsite
• 1 Physician Assistant onsite
Department Notes:
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities
• No IR department onsite
• Major traumas transferred externally

Temporary Privileges: Available with clean license/file

- Call-Only Position: Focused strictly on inpatient and ER call coverage with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
- General Urology Scope: Bread-and-butter urology coverage in a community hospital setting.
- Streamlined Environment: Major traumas are transferred to neighboring tertiary care facilities.
