Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide temporary coverage at a hospital in central Ohio. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, rotating call, and the opportunity to support a high-volume vascular team in a Level I trauma environment.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: December 2026
• Contract Length: December 2026 – April 2026
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7a–5p
• Call: Weekend call 1:4 (Friday evening–Monday morning)
• Weeknight call: Part of rotation

Work Details
• Inpatient Census: 10–20 patients per day
• Patient Population: Adults
• Setting: Level I trauma hospital
• EMR: Epic

Procedures / Responsibilities
• Vein harvesting
• Arteriovenous procedures
• Aortagrams & angiograms
• Bypasses
• Endovascular work
• TEEs
• T-Bars, B-Bars, TAAs
• Discharge orders, rounding, OR–floor support

Practice Setting
• Hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active Ohio NP license
• Certifications: ACLS
• Minimum Experience: 1 year
