Job description

Aya Locums is currently seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for a Vascular Surgery First Assist assignment in Central Ohio, supporting a Level I trauma center with both OR and inpatient responsibilities.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: February (ongoing need)
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical coverage with call
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Commitment: 1–2 weeks per month
• Shift Hours: 7:00a–5:00p
• Call: Weeknight and weekend call, rotating 1:4

Work Details
• Typical Responsibilities: Vein harvesting, Arteriovenous access, Aortagrams, Bypasses, Angiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), T-Bars, B-Bars, TAAs, Endovascular procedures, Rounding, discharge orders, Floating between OR and inpatient floors
• EMR/Charting: Epic
• Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
• Experience Preference: Trauma experience strongly preferred

Requirements
• State License: Ohio (active or eligible)
• Experience: Vascular surgery experience required; trauma experience strongly preferred
