Aya Locums is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant to provide full-time coverage at a facility in Southwestern Virginia. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule in a surgical setting focused on open cardiac and thoracic procedures.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: January 2026
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7a–3p
• Contract Type: Full-time

Work Details
• Case Types: Standard/open cardiac and thoracic surgery (no robotic or minimally invasive)
• Procedures: CABG, septal myectomies, EVH (McKay platform)
• Skills Required:

First assist and RNFA/SFA experience

Proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)

Endoradial experience preferred (not required)

Da Vinci robotic experience preferred (not required)
• EMR: Epic

Practice Setting
• Inpatient surgical environment

Requirements
• License: Active Virginia medical license required (will consider VA licensure)
• Experience: Must have first assist and EVH experience; cardiac and thoracic background required
