🩺 Breast Imaging Radiologist – Locums | Grand Rapids, MI

Job description

We are seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist for locum coverage. Strong opportunity for a breast imager seeking a high-volume, well-supported environment.

Practice Overview:
Large physician-owned radiology group (175 radiologists)
~95,000 breast imaging studies annually
Multidisciplinary breast program with strong clinical support

Assignment Details:
Onsite, ongoing coverage
Dedicated daily role:
Diagnostic (mammo + US), or
Procedural (biopsies, MRI procedures)

Volume:
Diagnostics: ~25–30/day
Procedures: ~10/day (non-MRI), fewer on MRI days

Support & Environment:
4–5 radiologists onsite daily
Experienced techs, nurses, and care coordinators
Efficient, high-volume breast imaging workflow

Technology:
Intelerad PACS, PowerScribe
3D mammography, CEM
3.0T MRI with biopsy capability

Requirements:
ABR/AOBR + MQSA
Breast fellowship or significant experience
MRI biopsy experience required
MI license preferred
