Locums Breast Imager Radiologist Needed in Michigan!

Facility type: Out-Patient Clinic
We have 4-5 radiologists daily; 2 share procedural responsibilities, and 2 share diagnostic coverage. Proceduralist performing MRI biopsies, which are done 2-3 days per week.

This role will work on site reading either
diagnostic mammo/US?(Only dx cases all day with screens/MRI as able in between) or?
conducting breast imaging procedures (only procedures all day with screens/MRI’s as able in between)
*They will not be doing both on the same day but may spend time in both assignments during a full week.

Volumes:
# of procedures per day – on a non-MRI procedure day, average 10 procedure +/- 1-2 (locs, US bx, stereo); on an MRI procedure day, morning average 4-5 procedures (locs, US bx, stereo). Afternoon average 2-4 MRI bx.
# of diagnostic per day - average 25-30 patients, mamm + US; also perform CEM at a low volume, but not mandatory
# of screeners per day- we do as many as possible between the clinical needs but don’t have a hard number or requirement, flexible
# of breast MRI’s - we do as many as possible between the clinical needs but don’t have a hard number or requirement, flexible

Requirements
Certified by the ABR or AOBR and current MQSA
Outstanding current references and clean malpractice record
Michigan license preferred
Breast Imaging fellowship?or significant breast imaging experience
