Mobile Nurse Practitioner – Podiatry / Wound Care (Full-Time)

📍 Nebraska: Lincoln & Omaha

Position Overview

Seeking a full-time Mobile Nurse Practitioner to provide at-risk foot care and wound care services to patients in home settings and care facilities. This is a non-surgical, mobile role requiring regional travel.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, delivering high-quality patient care in community and home-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive foot assessments and evaluate overall foot health

Diagnose and treat common foot and ankle conditions (ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, plantar fasciitis, etc.)

Develop individualized treatment plans

Provide wound care and perform minor procedures such as toenail removal

Educate patients on proper foot care and preventive practices

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR

Stay current with clinical best practices through ongoing education

Requirements & Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner (NP) degree from an accredited program

Active and unrestricted state license

Experience in wound care; Wound Care Certification preferred

Prior experience in home health, mobile care, or community health strongly preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Proficiency with EMR systems and email

Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Willingness to travel up to a 2-hour driving radius within assigned territory

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
