Specialty: Wound Care - NP
Start Date: Mid-Sept
Coverage Length: 3 months and possibility for continued coverage
Inpatient/Outpatient/ Clinic?: Wound Center (Outpatient)
Shift Details: Preference is a part time provider, but can make full time work for the right candidate.
*Part Time: Tues & Thurs 8a-4:30 at a minimum, but can also add on Mon/Wed 8a-12pm, Fri 12:30p-4:30p
*Full Time: Above schedule with some inpatient hours added in to get to 40hours
Work Details:
• Patients per shift: avg 7 patients per day/8hr shift
• Support Staff: Podiatrist, clinical coordinator (RN that sees patients as well) a 2nd RN, and a scheduler/coordinator.
• Describe the work setting/clinic? Wound Center
• Patient population/age: 18+
• EMR: Meditech,
• Trauma Level: IV
• Skills Required: Diabetes, surgical debridement, mechanical debridement's, total contact castings, multi layer compressions, CM substitutes
Practice Setting: Wound Center
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
• WV State license required: Yes, Will take Compact
• DEA: YES
• CSR: No
• Certifications required: not required
• Minimum experience required: 1 year, (may consider new grad)
