Two healthcare organizations are joining forces to address a growing concern across the medical profession: physician wellness and mental health.
LocumTenens.com and Tend Healthcare have launched a strategic collaboration aimed at increasing awareness, reducing stigma and expanding access to mental health resources for clinicians. The effort reflects broader industry conversations about burnout, emotional well-being and the long-term sustainability of the healthcare workforce.
Through the collaboration, the organizations will share educational content and wellness resources across social media, newsletters and other communication channels. The goal is to encourage open dialogue around mental health and to make support options more visible and accessible to clinicians.
As part of the initiative, Tend Healthcare is offering a 10% discount on self-pay services to all LocumTenens.com cliniciansmembers. Eligible cliniciansmembers can receive the discount by booking through Tend’s dedicated link and selecting “LT” under the affiliation option.
“At Tend, our mission is to take care of the people who take care of others,” said Dr. Namit Choksi, CEO of Tend Healthcare. “Partnering with LocumTenens.com allows us to broaden our reach and ensure more physicians have access to the mental health resources they deserve.”
Rather than the two companies operating under a financial arrangement, leaders from both organizations say this partnership is built on a shared commitment to enhancing the clinician experience and recognizing that physician well-being has a direct impact on patient care and health system resilience.
