ALPHARETTA, Ga. (September 16, 2026) — LocumTenens.com, a pioneer in healthcare staffing solutions, today announced Virtua Health's Eat Well Food Access Program as the latest recipient of its "Heart of Healthcare Award." This recognition honors hospital- and healthcare organization-based philanthropic programs that offer innovative solutions to community challenges.
Virtua's Eat Well initiative addresses food insecurity and promotes nutrition as a foundation for better health through a multifaceted approach that includes a mobile farmers market, mobile grocery store and food farmacy programs. Since its launch in 2017, Eat Well has expanded access to affordable, nutritious food, nutrition education and community resources for individuals and families throughout southern New Jersey.
