Dr. Ograbisz accepting her position at the national AANP conference in San Diego.
In this influential role, Dr. Ograbisz will serve as the primary state-level contact for the AANP’s regional director, board of directors and executive staff. She will work to advance the association’s mission by supporting nurse practitioners (NPs) across Georgia and advocating for their interests at both the state and national levels.
“I’m honored to have been appointed to this position and officially installed at the national conference in San Diego,” said Ograbisz. “This opportunity is both a privilege and a responsibility I take to heart. I look forward to meaningful contributions, learning from colleagues and furthering the AANP’s mission. This experience has only strengthened my commitment — I’m excited to run for the 2026-2028 term as well.”
Notably, Ograbisz is the only AANP liaison currently representing a locum tenens staffing agency, bringing a unique and valuable perspective to the role. She aims to be a strong advocate for clinicians by fostering communication, professional networking and legislative engagement on their behalf.
The AANP empowers nurse practitioners to provide accessible, equitable and high-quality care through leadership in practice, education, advocacy and research.
